Larnaca is a great central location between the beaches of Ayia Napa and hilltop villages like Lefkara and Kato Drys which are only 20 minutes away and great for hiking and cycling
Ayia Napa is definitely worth visiting, as it is near Protaras, a beautiful holiday village, and has a large amount of restaurants & shops along with a notorious clubbing scene, not to mention the beaches. There are also nature trails and beautiful spots to see the sunset at Cape Greko. Be aware though, that there is often a large amount of tourists in Ayia Napa
Some of the best beaches to visit are Mackenzie Beach (Larnaca), Konnos Bay (Ayia Napa) & Nissi Beach (Ayia Napa)
Wine tasting sessions are available, where you can sample up to ten Cypriot wines with nibbles in the heart of Larnaca town at The Oak Tree Wine Cellar & Tasting Room
The gay club Secrets has now closed in Larnaca, however, The Night Elements Club has opened up in its place, located in a slightly different area. We have not been yet, so if you do go, please let us know what its like
If you like walking along the sea front, both Finikoudes Beach & Mackenzie Beach are connected, with beautiful views of the sea along with restaurants and bars
Plug sockets in Cyprus have the same configuration as the UK and not the rest of Europe
