OTHER TIPS

• First of all, be aware that most establishments only take cash. If they don't have a notice outside, confirm with them that they can take card payments

• Anything to the West of Vilamoura in the Algarve is predominantly more windy, so use a lot of hairspray!

• The best place to view the sunset is at the Lighthouse of Cabo de São Vicente in Sagres or at a winebar called Mirador at Praia da Falesia in Albufeira which has incredible views of the cliffs and you don’t need to be a member of the resort that it’s next to

• Bars in Sagres are relatively close to each other, so you can start from Perceve Bar and work from there

• If you want a Gay beach then Praia da Manta Rota is for you

• We personally preferred beaches in Sagres as they were quieter and more beautiful

• Don't leave without trying Prego (beef sandwich that can be served in bread (with mustard or hot sauce) or in a plate (with fries, rice and fried egg)) and of course the fish and seafood in general
